I was born a worrier. I think it is in the genes but I have learned to put boundaries around it. I am not perfect but I have learned how to understand it and intercept it when it happens. One thing I have learned is WORRY gets you nowhere. When the worry comes in, I have a discussion with it and replace it with positive thinking. I face it head on and deal with each situation. In fact, I choose not to worry when it happens. Yes, it is a choice. In addition, not worrying so much has health benefits. Since I don't worry as much, I feel better and sleep better. Worry can be very fatiguing so why worry?
